concept: we wake up one day and nature has grown decades overnight. we can’t remember where the roads used to be. in some places the trees are so tall and thick we can barely see sky. the grass hasn’t been mowed in years. how quiet everything is now
In summer I always feel like I’m taking too many pictures, then in winter, I go through summer folders looking for something to post and wonder why I didn’t take more.
Asperatus Clouds are so rare that they were only classified as of 2009. We know little about them other than the fact that they look mesmerizing.
Hello guys! If you know me in person you may know that I am really passionate about the vegan lifestyle. I have had ups and downs, and I tried many different things until I finally found what works best for me and I have never felt better before. Many people think that vegans are judgmental and full of hate towards meat eaters (and some maybe really are).
The truth is that all we want to do is spread the vegan message, but we all have different ways of doing it.
Some people choose the more “agressive” way that may demotivate some people, but it may also help others.
There is no good or bad way of doing it, and as long as vegans are sharing this message, and people become aware of what is going on we may actually change something.
I am not here to judge you. I don`t think that meat eaters are bad people, I just want to show you what the vegan lifestyle is like.
I don`t want to make you feel bad about yourself, I just want to show you the benefits of this amazing lifestyle and then you can choose if you want to try it
I am not calling myself a nutritionist, I am not going to tell you what or how you should eat. I am just going to share my personal experience. What is vegan?
First of all I would like to explain to those of you who don`t know what veganism is. Vegan is a person who doesn`t consume any animal products such as meat, fish, eggs, dairy, fur and leather clothes, cosmetics that are tested on animals, and even honey. There are many different reasons for a person to go vegan and there are many different types of veganism such as plant based vegans, raw vegans, raw till4 diet, high carb low fat diet, or just vegans who don`t follow any healthy diet but just simply don`t eat animal products.10 Reasons to go vegan
Help the animals
Do you know that a vegan saves more than 150 animals a year? By not supporting those industries they won`t produce as much animal products because they won`t get as much money for them.
So if you are an animal lover, this is the best way for you to fight with the animal cruelty.
Save the planet
Everyone these days is aware of the climate change, but only very few people are aware that the biggest pollution comes from the meat industry.
Going vegan is much more effective than the energy-efficient light bulbs or hybrid cars.Help people too
It takes up to 13pounds of grain to produce only 1pound of animal flesh. All that plant could be fed to people and be more useful. Also the workers in the animal factories work in very poor conditions. They are low paid and expected to work at a very dangerous speed. So if you are fighting for human rights you can fight for veganism too.
Veganism heals
Not only that veganism is good for the environment but it is extremely healthy for you too. Plant based diet should contain many raw and fresh vegetables, fruits, seeds, nuts and many other ingredients that are not only good for staying in shape, but those natural foods are full of vitamins and can have healing effects on your body.If you make your research and read some books you will find hundreds of people that were suffering from cancer, diabetes, stroke and many other illnesses, and were saved by the vegan lifestyle,Stop with the low fat yoghurts and egg-white omelets that will make you `stay in shape`.I am talking from my personal experience right now.
Prevents illnesses
If it heals then it of course also prevents illnesses such as heart disease and diabetes. According to the peta organization scientists at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health tested supermarket chicken flesh and found that 96 percent of Tyson chicken was contaminated with campylobacter, a dangerous bacterium that causes 2.4 million cases of food poisoning each year, resulting in diarrhea, cramping, abdominal pain, and fever.
No more diets
Before going vegan I ate about 1000 to 1300 kcal but hardly lost any weight. On the vegan diet I eat about 1800 to 2100 kcal and not only that I am in the best shape I have ever been in my life, but I also feel full of energy and I don`t have to force myself to workout anymore, because I want to go and work out.
BeautyNatural foods also help to clear your skin, make your hair and nails stronger and make you smell much better, because your body detoxicates from all those toxins that are in the flesh and dairy products.
Vegan food is delicious
No! No we do not only eat grass! Not only that as a plant based vegan I can eat much more food than I used to before but the food I eat is much tastier than the processed foods I used to buy from the supermarket. Vegan salads, Vegan smoothie and acai bowls, raw cakes and many others. You have no idea how creative you can be while making your food and how good you will feel after eating it.The only difference is your attitude
There is no difference between hurting a dog or hurting a pig. In fact it has been proven that pigs are smarter than dogs. So please, before crying and getting mad because of this puppy that is standing alone in front of the supermarket, actually do something that can help to stop (or at least decrease) the animal cruelty.
It matters
I often hear those excuses like `oh but animals are still going to get killed`,`they are already dead so you can`t change anything`. Wrong! Meat and diary industries produce all those products because you give them money to produce them. By not supporting those industries, the factories will get less money and produce smaller amount of their products. So that is all for today and I hope that you liked this post. If you have any questions or comments just leave them down bellow. If you want to learn more about the vegan lifestyle you can stay tuned, because I am going to post many articles on this topic.
